Commercial metal wall panels in El Paso.

Exposed-fastener, concealed-fastener and insulated wall panels for warehouses, shops, metal buildings and architectural walls, with R-panel rolled in El Paso and cut to exact length.

What we bid

Wall panels and the trim that finishes them.

A metal wall does the same job as a roof turned on its side: keep water out and stand up to the wind. We bid single-skin, concealed-fastener and insulated panel walls, and every piece of trim around them.

  • R-panel walls: 26 ga, 36" coverage, 12 chart colors, rolled in El Paso and cut to exact length
  • Concealed-fastener and flush architectural wall panels, as specified
  • Insulated metal panels (IMP) for conditioned buildings
  • Liner panels inside shops and warehouses
  • Re-skins and over-cladding of tired walls
  • Panel replacement on existing buildings, color-matched to the panels already there
  • Base, corner, jamb, head and sill trim in the panel color
MAJOR RIB EXPOSED FASTENER + WASHER

FLUSH FACECONCEALED FASTENER
Concealed fastener: flush panelIllustration. Each fastener hides under the next panel’s edge, for a smooth wall.

Before bid day

Four things to settle on a metal wall.

  • Wind at the corners

The corners and edges of a building see the highest wind pressures. Fastener spacing follows the panel maker’s load tables for the project’s design pressures, tighter at the corners.

  • Insulation and the energy code

Many walls now need continuous insulation to meet the energy code (IECC or ASHRAE 90.1). The wall section decides what goes behind the panel, and the panel system has to work with it.

  • Insulated panel warranties

Many insulated panel makers back their weathertightness warranties only with a factory-certified installer. Tell us the manufacturer early so we can sort that out before bid day.

  • Color in our sun

Lighter colors stay cooler on west and south walls. On a re-skin or a panel swap, send a photo and the original color name so we can match it.

FAQ

Common questions

Don't see yours? Call us — we're happy to talk it through.

Exposed or concealed fasteners: which is better for walls?

Exposed-fastener R-panel is strong, quick to install and economical: the usual choice for shops, warehouses and metal buildings. Concealed-fastener and flush panels cost more but give a smooth, architectural wall with no screw heads. The spec and the budget usually decide.

Can you match the panels on our existing building?

Usually. Send photos, the panel profile and, if you have it, the original color name. Our R-panel in the 12 chart colors is rolled in El Paso, so replacement panels come cut to exact length.

Do you install insulated metal panels?

Send us the IMP scope. Many IMP warranties require a manufacturer-certified installer, so tell us the manufacturer and system early and we’ll tell you straight away how we’d bid it.
