Architectural metal roofing for commercial buildings in El Paso.
Standing seam and R-panel roofs for offices, schools, churches, retail, shops and metal buildings, with the coping, edge metal and flashing that tie the roof into the walls.
What we bid
The roof, and everything it meets.
On a commercial building the roof, the parapets and the walls meet in a dozen places, and that’s where leaks start. We bid the roof panels and the architectural sheet metal that ties them in.
- Standing seam: 24 ga, 1-3/4" snap-lock, 18" panels, concealed clips
- R-panel: 26 ga, 36" coverage, 12 chart colors, for warehouses, shops and metal buildings
- Panels rolled in El Paso and cut to exact length; for the longest runs we can roll on site
- Flat and low-slope roofs converted to sloped metal — see flat roof to metal
- Re-roofs on existing metal buildings: failed fasteners, leaks, flashing and panel replacement
- Parapet coping, edge metal, counterflashing and penetration flashing, color-matched
- A different profile or gauge in the spec? Send it, and we’ll tell you straight away what we can bid
Before bid day
Four things to settle on a metal roof.
- Pitch
Our snap-lock standing seam and R-panel both need at least 3:12. Below that, the roof needs a slope built first — see flat roof to metal — or a system tested for low slope.
- Wind uplift
The roof should match a tested assembly (UL 580 or ASTM E1592) for the project’s wind pressures. Clip and fastener spacing follow that test, tighter at corners and edges.
- Heat and movement
Long panels grow in the afternoon sun and shrink at night. Concealed clips let standing seam move; on R-panel, that daily movement is why fasteners need checking over the years.
- Cool roofs
Light, reflective finishes send more of the sun back. The EPA reports reflective cool roofs can cut peak cooling demand 11–27% in air-conditioned buildings.

FAQ
Common questions
Don't see yours? Call us — we're happy to talk it through.
Do you re-roof existing metal buildings?
Yes: failed fasteners, leaks, flashing and panel replacement, or a full new roof. We look at it first and tell you in writing what it needs.
Can you convert a flat commercial roof to metal?
Yes. New framing gives the roof a slope, then it’s finished in standing seam or R-panel. Changing a roof’s shape is structural work, so it needs a permit and inspections. How a flat roof becomes a metal roof.
Standing seam or R-panel for a commercial roof?
Standing seam for buildings that want a clean architectural roof with no exposed screws; R-panel for warehouses, shops and metal buildings, where a strong, economical roof makes sense. Our guide compares them side by side.
